In the hills around the Weissensee a 24-hour mountainbike race will be held in the weekend from 18 to 20 September, 2009. It is possible to enter the race as an individual or in teams of up to three or six riders. When in a team you are obliged to take turns.
The goal is to achieve a maximum distance within 24 hours. The mountain bikers may be attended to in the rider area. There the teams can put up a tent, where they can have a short nap between turns.

The environment of the Weissensee is beautiful. After the event it is highly recommended for participants to spend a few days holiday with family and friends in these surroundings.
